A month before the Workshop, we’ll give you a list of items to bring with you: computer; examples of your photography; snapshots or a video of the interior and exterior of your studio location; your promotional materials; your current price lists; a list of your biggest business concerns; and your financial figures. Don’t worry if your financial information is a mess. We will supply you with simple, easy-to-complete forms that will help you to get organized. If we don’t know where your business is right now, we can’t help you get to where you want to go. We’ll look at everything: your business image, product offerings, market area, competitive environment, financial position, pricing, marketing, sales methods, and staff. We’ll also consider your major business issues. This way, we’ll get an accurate picture of your business.

Next, we’ll take your financial numbers and help you plug them into computer software. This will give you a computerized snapshot of your current business health. You’ll see things about your business that you never could before. More importantly, the software allows us to create “what-if” scenarios showing the affect that proposed business changes will have on your profitability.

Armed with this information, we’ll help you zero in on the few areas you need to change to put more money into your pocket. And, using the software, we’ll show you just how much more money you can expect. Don’t be surprised if the needed changes aren’t as big as you might think. Typically, it takes no more than 4 operational adjustments to produce dramatic results. During this process, we’ll give you ideas, guidance, suggestions and key profit strategies. You’ll find your workshop to be a collaborative effort: You will be intimately involved in the entire process. We won’t be satisfied until you are comfortable with the suggested changes and feel you can make them within a reasonable amount of time.
